All prices are displayed in euros and include Belgian/EU VAT.For orders delivered outside the European Union, Belgian/EU VAT is not due. As website prices are displayed inclusive of VAT by default, EU VAT can be removed at checkout using code NONEU.
Shipping rates per single shipment are:Belgium: free shipping via Bpost, with tracking, insurance and proof of delivery.European Union / United States / United Kingdom: €50 per shipment via DHL Express, including tracking, insurance and signature required upon delivery.Rest of the world, excluding Israël: €75 per shipment via DHL Express, including tracking, insurance and signature required upon delivery.Israël: €130 per shipment via DHL Express, including tracking, insurance and signature required upon delivery.

When will my in-stock order be shipped?

In-stock items are generally dispatched within 1–5 business days after payment has been received.In-stock items requiring additional cutting, colouring or other personalisation generally require 1–3 weeks of processing time.International deliveries generally take 1–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and any customs clearance.Please note that all processing and transit times are estimates.For full shipping and delivery information, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

What is the estimated production time for pre-orders and custom orders?

Accepted Answer

Production time for pre-orders and custom orders is generally 4–16 weeks. In some cases, production may take up to 20 weeks.
Each piece requires detailed production work and timing can vary depending on the selected product, construction, availability of materials and current production capacity. Fully hand-tied pieces and SL lace top wigs and toppers may require additional production time.
I prefer to be transparent about production times rather than promise an exact completion date that I cannot guarantee. Some pieces may be completed sooner, while others may take longer.Hair by V personally monitors the production process and you will be informed as soon as your piece is ready for shipping.
For custom and personalised orders, payment must be made in full before production starts. Changes after final confirmation are not guaranteed and may be refused.
Pre-orders and custom orders are FINAL SALE and non-returnable once confirmed.Please carefully review the product details before ordering. Can I visit Hair by V in person?

Hair by V is an online-based brand focused on wigs and toppers, not a traditional salon. The standard way of working is through the website.
Most clients order directly and try their piece at home. This allows you to see the color, fit and overall look in your own lighting, take your time, and try everything in a calm and private setting.Stock pieces can be returned according to the return policy (shipping costs are non-refundable).
If you are interested in a specific color, you can type the name in the search bar to view all available photos and videos.
In-person consultations are not the standard way of working and are only offered in very limited cases. A small number of appointments are reserved each month for clients experiencing medical hair loss (such as chemotherapy or alopecia).

Can I return an in-stock item?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Eligible in-stock items may be returned.
You must notify Hair by V via info@hairbyv.shop within 14 calendar days of receipt. The return shipment must then be sent within 14 calendar days after your return notification.For international returns, Hair by V provides a DHL Express return label, which must be used. 
For returns within Belgium, the customer arranges and pays for the return shipment.Returned items must remain in returnable condition.

Why are shipping costs deducted from my refund?

Hair by V does not charge a restocking or administration fee for a compliant return.However, the customer is responsible for both the original outbound shipping cost and the return shipping cost. For international returns, Hair by V provides the DHL Express return label and the applicable return shipping cost is deducted from the refund.

Topper or wig: which one is right for me?

The right choice depends on your individual needs, your own hair and the amount of coverage you prefer.A topper is designed to add coverage and volume to the top of the head while allowing your own hair to remain visible and blend with the piece.A wig provides full coverage and can be a better option when you prefer not to blend your own hair or need more overall coverage.Fit and appearance can vary depending on factors such as head circumference, your own hair, placement and styling.Please also review the product description carefully before placing your order.

Can I try a stock piece at home?

Eligible in-stock pieces can be purchased online and carefully tried on at home.This allows you to assess the colour, fit and overall look in your own environment before deciding whether to keep the piece.If you may wish to return it, the lace must not be cut or altered and the hair must not be washed, coloured, cut, chemically treated or heat styled. The piece may only be tried on briefly and carefully.Pre-orders, custom and personalised pieces, and sale or stock-clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for return.

Please take the time to understand what you’re buying and what to realistically expect:

Different cap constructions (lace top, silk top, lace front, hand-tied, etc.) -> check the pictures and info in the comparison pages on the website 
Hair grades and how they impact look & feel
Longevity per construction: not every cap is meant to survive the same wear schedule. Different budget options are added on request, have realistic expectations 
Bleached knots: pros & cons (especially the trade-off between “invisible” vs weaker / less durable) invisible vs durable. The effect on lifespan and shedding.
Care instructions: they’re not “optional reading”, they’re the difference between months and years
