Only use professional-grade products suitable for human hair. I personally use Redken Color Gels Oils, chosen for their gentle, ammonia-free formula and long-lasting results.

Do not bleach or lighten processed hair. Lightening should only be considered on virgin (untreated) hair, and even then with extreme care.

Always protect the silk or lace base and avoid applying color directly onto it, as staining can be permanent.

When working close to the base or hairline, apply color carefully and with precision to avoid staining or damaging the construction.

Always perform a strand test before coloring, as alternative human hair may react differently to biological hair.

Never leave the piece unattended while processing.
Color Guidelines - important tips
Hair by V pieces are made with 100% human hair and can be colored with care. I recommend working with an experienced hairstylist. Stylists who regularly work with human-hair extensions can also be a good option.
Avoid bleaching processed hair.
Work with the existing color by adding darker tones, depth or dimension.
