SL Topper with Closed Lace Front

A lightweight hybrid topper combining a realistic scalp appearance with the flexibility and natural movement of lace.

The SL Topper combines a skin/lace top with individually hand-tied hairs and an ultra-thin closed lace front.

The top creates a highly realistic, silk-like scalp appearance with concealed knots through the parting area, while the lighter and more flexible construction provides more natural movement than a traditional silk topper.

The closed lace front creates a very thin, flat front edge that can be worn at or just behind your natural hairline, without necessarily needing to blend much biological hair over the front.

In terms of weight and density, the SL construction sits between the Closed Lace Topper and a traditional Silk Topper: slightly more structured and fuller than Closed Lace, while remaining lighter and lower in density than Silk.

SKIN/LACE TOP & CLOSED LACE FRONT

The SL construction is designed to combine some of the best characteristics of silk and lace.

The skin/lace top creates a realistic scalp appearance and conceals the knots, giving the impression of hair growing naturally from the scalp.

Compared with a traditional Silk Topper, the SL construction is thinner, lighter and more flexible, allowing for more natural movement and less bulk.

The closed lace front is a thin, folded and finished lace edge designed to sit extremely flat against the scalp.

This makes it especially suitable if you:

• prefer a very flat front edge
• have little biological hair at the front to blend
• want the realistic scalp effect of silk with a lighter, more flexible construction

The parting can be changed within the skin/lace top area by wetting the hair, repositioning the part and drying it into place.
 

BASE, CLIPS & BACK CONSTRUCTION

SL Toppers come standard with one large comb at the front and clips around the perimeter.

For a custom order, the large front comb can be replaced with two smaller combs or two clips if preferred.

The standard construction has a wefted back, which provides a secure and slightly more structured feel.

For an even lighter, softer and more flexible result, a hand-tied back upgrade can be added to eligible custom orders.

With a hand-tied back, the hairs throughout the back are individually hand-tied instead of being sewn onto wefts. This creates a naturally lighter and somewhat lower-density feel through the back.
 

RETURN HAIRS

SL Toppers have return hairs.

These are shorter hairs, usually around 2–3 inches long, created as part of the hand-knotting process. They are a normal characteristic of this construction and are not broken hairs.

Return hairs help create natural movement, texture and lift at the roots.

If you prefer a smoother finish, they can be controlled with a blow dryer, flat iron or hot comb.

Both SL Toppers and Closed Lace Toppers have return hairs.
 

LENGTH & CUT

Choose your preferred length when ordering.

Hair length is measured straight from the top of the hairpiece to the ends.

All Hair by V toppers come slightly layered as standard.

This creates natural movement through the lengths and prevents the ends from looking too heavy or blocky.

The stated length refers to the longest hairs when measured straight.

If you prefer a more one-length or blunt finish, this should be requested when placing a custom order.
 

COLOUR & ROOT CUSTOMIZATION

Choose your preferred root customization when ordering.

A custom root is included with your purchase if desired.

As every piece is made from human hair, slight variations in tone, texture and colour placement may occur between individual pieces and production batches.

Colours may also appear different depending on lighting and screen settings.
