Back construction
Choose between:
- Wefted back
The standard construction, offering a secure and slightly more structured fit with a fuller feel through the back. - Handtied back
The hair throughout the back of the cap is individually handtied instead of sewn onto wefts. Because of this construction, a handtied back is naturally lower in density and lighter in weight, creating a softer and more flexible cap that moves more freely.
The overall look remains similar, but the weight, density and feel of the cap are noticeably different.
Hairline & knots
Hair by V Lace Top Wigs are made with lighter-coloured hair along the front hairline, creating a softer, more natural transition around the face and helping the knots appear less visible.
The knots are not bleached, to help preserve the strength of the knots and lace and reduce unnecessary shedding.
The light front hair can be kept light or rooted to blend into the root colour, depending on your preference.
Because very light hair is used along the front hairline, the knots in this area naturally appear lighter and more subtle.
A little scalp powder can be applied underneath the lace or along the parting if desired for an even more scalp-like finish.
PLEASE NOTE
Each Hair by V piece is individually coloured and finished, so small variations between pieces or production batches may occur.
The photos show the hairpiece in different lighting conditions in an attempt to represent the colour as accurately as possible.
Please keep in mind that hair colour may appear slightly different depending on lighting, screen brightness and screen calibration.

CAP FINISH & LINER
Most in-stock Hair by V wigs come without clips and with silicone-coated ear tabs and nape for additional grip and comfort.
Some stock pieces may have a different finish.
For a custom order, you can request your preferred cap finish:

The type of liner can also be selected when custom ordering, including silk or diamond liner.
LENGTH & CUT
All lengths are measured from the top centre of the crown down to the ends with the hair straight.
Hair by V wigs come slightly layered to create natural movement and shape.
A blunt, one-length finish or bob can be custom ordered upon request.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom options may include:

Processing & Production
- In-stock items: generally dispatched within 1–5 business days after payment has been received.
- Additional cutting, colouring or personalisation: generally 1–3 weeks processing time.
- Pre-orders & custom orders: generally 4–16 weeks production time; in some cases up to 20 weeks.
